Terms of Service

We believe in simple, fair terms. Here's our agreement with you, written in language everyone can understand.

The agreement

These terms form a legal agreement between you and Ploi Cloud (operated by WebBuilds B.V. and Meer Development B.V., Netherlands companies). By using our services, you agree to these terms.

If you're using Ploi Cloud on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing to these terms for that organization.

Your account

Account responsibilities

  • • You must be 18 or older to use our services
  • • Provide accurate account information
  • • Keep your login credentials secure
  • • You're responsible for all activity under your account
  • • One free trial per person or organization

Team accounts

  • • Team owners are responsible for team member actions
  • • Team members must have valid invitations
  • • Removing team members immediately revokes their access
  • • Teams share resources and billing

Acceptable use

You cannot use Ploi Cloud for:

  • • Illegal activities or content
  • • Cryptocurrency mining
  • • Distributing malware or conducting attacks
  • • Spamming or phishing
  • • Violating intellectual property rights
  • • Reselling our services without permission
  • • Excessive resource usage that impacts other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We'll try to notify you first, except in cases of severe violations or legal requirements.

Billing & payment

Pricing

  • • Pay only for resources you use
  • • Prices are in EUR excluding VAT
  • • Usage calculated hourly or monthly
  • • No setup or termination fees

Billing

  • • Automatic monthly billing
  • • Payment via credit card or bank transfer
  • • Overdue accounts may be suspended
  • • Refunds for unused time upon cancellation

Free trial: 3 hours of free usage for new accounts. No credit card required to start.

Service level

What we provide

  • • Infrastructure to run your containerized applications
  • • Automated deployment from your repositories
  • • SSL certificates and domain management
  • • Basic monitoring and logs
  • • Support via email and documentation

Limitations

We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee:

  • • 100% uptime (though we aim for 99.9%)
  • • Compatibility with all applications
  • • Protection against all security threats
  • • Recovery from user errors or data loss

Your content

Your content remains yours

You retain all rights to your applications, data, and content. We only access your content when necessary to provide services or comply with law.

You grant us permission to:

  • • Store and backup your content
  • • Serve your applications to users
  • • Process your code for deployment

We will never:

  • • Claim ownership of your content
  • • Sell or share your content
  • • Use your content for AI training

Cancellation & termination

You can cancel

  • • Cancel anytime from your dashboard
  • • No cancellation fees
  • • Export your data before cancelling
  • • Immediate effect upon cancellation

We may terminate

  • • For violations of these terms
  • • For non-payment after notice
  • • If required by law
  • • With 30 days notice for any reason

Upon termination, we'll delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it. Make sure to export anything you need before cancelling.

Liability & indemnity

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for:

  • • Indirect or consequential damages
  • • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • • Corruption or loss of data
  • • Third-party actions or content

You agree to indemnify us

You'll defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms occasionally. For significant changes:

  • • We'll notify you 30 days in advance
  • • You can accept or cancel your service
  • • Continued use means acceptance
  • • Minor changes may take immediate effect

Disputes

We prefer to resolve issues directly with you. If we can't:

  • • These terms are governed by Dutch law
  • • Disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts
  • • You may have additional rights under consumer law
  • • Class action waiver applies where permitted

General terms

  • Entire agreement: These terms are the complete agreement between us
  • Severability: If any part is invalid, the rest remains in effect
  • No waiver: Not enforcing a right doesn't waive it
  • Assignment: You can't transfer these terms; we can with notice
  • Force majeure: Neither party liable for events beyond control
