Introducing uptime monitoring, powered by Oh Dear ❤️

We're excited to announce that uptime monitoring is now available in Ploi Cloud. Powered by Oh Dear, you can now keep a close eye on your applications around the clock — and get notified the moment something goes wrong.

Why uptime monitoring matters

You shouldn't have to find out your application is down from your users. With uptime monitoring enabled, Ploi Cloud checks your application every minute from multiple global locations. The moment your app stops responding, you'll know about it.

What you get

When you enable uptime monitoring for an application, Oh Dear automatically starts tracking several things:

• HTTP uptime checks — Your application is pinged every minute to verify it's responding with a healthy status code.

• SSL certificate health — See your certificate's issuer, expiration date, and days remaining at a glance. No more surprise expirations.

• Performance metrics — Detailed breakdowns of DNS resolution, TCP handshake, SSL handshake, server processing, and content download times. Spot slowdowns before your users do.

• Mixed content detection — If your HTTPS pages are loading resources over insecure HTTP, you'll know about it.

• Broken link detection — Automatically crawls your site and flags 404s and broken links that could hurt SEO.

All of this data is visualized directly in the monitoring tab of your application, with configurable time ranges (last hour, 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days).

One-click setup

Enabling monitoring takes about 5 seconds:

1. Go to your application's Monitoring tab

2. Click Enable monitoring

3. That's it

Ploi Cloud handles all the integration with Oh Dear behind the scenes. You can also choose which domain to monitor if your application has multiple custom domains configured.

Instant alerts through your existing channels

When your application goes down or recovers, Ploi Cloud sends notifications through the notification channels you've already set up — Slack, Discord, Google Chat, email, or webhooks. No extra configuration needed. You'll receive clear messages telling you exactly what happened, when, and for how long.

Pricing

Uptime monitoring is available as a pay-as-you-go add-on at EUR 2.50/month per application. You're only charged for the time monitoring is active — enable it on the 15th of the month and you'll pay roughly half. Disable it anytime, and billing stops immediately.
